Nu Deco Ensemble is a flexible and innovative hybrid orchestra and is reimagining a fresh vision of what an orchestra can achieve in the 21st century. Our mission is to create compelling and transformative genre-bending musical experiences that inspire, enrich and connect new and diverse audiences and artists.

We are thrilled to provide the first video in our Imagination education series, 'Living Composers,' which is aimed at showcasing the importance of modern day composers. These composers are a voice of today's society and produce music that is relevant, fresh, and that infuse the sounds, instruments, and genres of today. We're excited to share this video of several living composers and we hope that you can learn a little bit about them while being taken on a journey of new music.

Accompanying the video is a study guide that explores some of the musical concepts from the video in greater detail. There are also post-concert quizzes based on academic level and are geared towards measuring student understanding.
