The Open Source: Submit an Event

The Open Source is a performance space, music venue and workshop hub bringing life back into an underused space in Belfast's Cathedral Quarter during the annual Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival. It is participatory in nature: anyone with something to share can book the space for an hour and run their very own event. The space is free to use and free to attend and made possible through donations of time, equipment, and energy.

The Open Source 2015 takes place from Friday 8th - Sunday 10th of May. For the first time, it is an outdoor event around The Big Table - a temporary installation on Lower Garfield Street.

Use this form to tell us about the event you want to run in the space.

IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE BEFORE SUBMITTING YOUR EVENT:
1. Your preferred date and time may already be taken. Please check the programme on the website before submitting your event.
2. All events are limited to one-hour slots. In exceptional circumstances we might be able to accommodate a 2-hour session. If you think you need a longer slot, please contact adam@seedheadarts.com
3. Given the number and diversity of events happening at the Open Source, promoting each individual event isn't possible. It is up to each participant to publicise and populate your own event. So make a Facebook page, round up your friends, and generally get the information out about what you're doing!
