What's the best job for you?

Here's some extra bits 'n pieces that would really help us bring the festival together. 

ADMIN - Do you love the detail? Come help us manage our various documentation, applications, compliance elements and general help with the many things that come up throughout the year leading up to the festival. We would love this role to help out with the committee meetings as well, taking minutes, sending out emails after etc. 

MARKETING - We would love some help from an experienced marketing manager to help us develop strategies around social media, comms, adveristing, promotions, and collateral development. We would hope this person would be on our committee as well. 

SOCIALS - Do you love creating fun, engaging social media content? It's a flexible role, majority time committment is a few months out from and during the festival, with occasional posts and updates after. Perfect for a creative soul who loves community, music, and storytelling! This role is not expected to join the committee. 

PARTNERSHIPS - We’re looking for a Partnerships Coordinator to help build up some funding by connecting with local businesses, sponsors, and community groups to build meaningful collaborations. We would hope this person would be on our committee as well.

As a volunteer at the Kangaroo Valley Folk Festival, we contribute to the success of the Festival by:

  • Exhibiting at all times a positive and friendly approach with the purpose of ensuring Festival attendees and volunteers have an enjoyable and memorable experience.
