The Massachusetts Product Stewardship Council (MassPSC), a subsidiary of MassRecycle, is gathering information to help inform policy on reducing and mitigating costs to municipalities for managing waste. Specifically, MassPSC is examining the costs of managing, mattresses, recycling, paint, and electronics. These four material streams have the highest potential for extended producer responsibility (EPR) legislation in Massachusetts currently.
