Art Club is an arts and cultural enrichment program for youth ages 7-10yrs. Each session provides opportunities to view and discuss exhibitions, visit cultural institutions, meet working artists, collaborate with peers, and explore the studio arts, introducing 2D mediums in the spring, and 3D mediums in the fall. In addition, culinary arts is offered as an extension to the program and provides opportunities to gain food knowledge and cooking skills by working with a local chef. Snacks and prepared meals are provided.

PLEASE NOTE  the culinary arts track is optional and offered as an extension at the end of Art Club.

Created to serve families in North Omaha, youth living in or attending school in the 68110, 68111, 68112, and 68104 zip codes OR youth in Greater Omaha who qualify for free or reduced lunch OR who are from historically excluded backgrounds will be given priority admission.

When: Saturdays 10a-12:30p; August 27 – November 12, 2022 (skips September 3)

Where: The Union for Contemporary Art, 2423 N 24th Street, Omaha, NE

Who: Youth ages 7–10yrs. (Must be fully vaccinated, including booster as recommended by CDC; masks required)
