GreenTown Co-op Membership Application
Making using compostables easy!

The goal of the GreenTown Co-op is to eliminate expanded polystyrene foam (EPS) and non-recycled
plastics (#3-6) as take-home containers for carry-out orders and left-overs and replace
these containers with environmentally preferable compostable containers.

To support this goal, the GreenTown Co-op has negotiated an agreement with World
Centric, a supplier of compostable containers and utensils, to provide our members
compostable products at 25% below retail pricing. Membership is free, open to all.

Orders and Delivery:
• Order cut off is 2:30 PM daily.
• Orders must be placed online, or by fax.
• Minimum order size is $250.
• Orders will be shipped or ready for will call at the San Leandro warehouse on the next business day after order confirmation.
• Orders requiring same day shipment must be placed before 11:30 AM and will incur an additional $10 fee for special handling.
• Orders can be paid by credit card or PayPal and orders will be billed
at time of shipment. Terms are available for orders over $1,000.

• Shipping is by Munoz Transport Service or UPS, depending on order size.
• Shipping charges are the buyer’s responsibility. Munoz Shipping offers fixed price up to
and including 10 cases, @ $26.95. Over 10 cases adds $1.50 per additional case.

Upon joining the GreenTown Co-op, you will receive the following:
1. The GreenTown Promotional Code, which must be used for all orders;
2. Training on entering orders with World Centric, either online, or by fax;
3. Decal as member of the GreenTown Co-op “Going Compostable”
4. Visibility on the GreenTown Los Altos web site;
5. Follow up from the GreenTown Co-op team periodically to insure satisfaction.
