Usability test for Bienvisto

This is a simple usability test to study how easy it is to use the visualization tool.

My intention is to use the results of these tests in the evaluation chapter of my master thesis.

    Set up and basic usage

    Complete the following steps and answer the questions below when finished: 1- Read the quick guide: http://miguelsantirso.es/bienvisto/quick-guide 2- Open the visualization tool at http://miguelsantirso.es/bienvisto/ 3- Download the sample trace file from http://hg.miguelsantirso.es/bienvisto/downloads/sample_trace_it8.txt.zip 4- Unzip the file and load it into the visualization tool 5- Adjust the zoom and the "camera" so that you can see all the nodes (imagine there is a virtual camera above the nodes "recording" the visualization). 6- Use the options menu to enable the grid 7- Play the first 15 seconds of the simulation and pause the visualization. 8- Hide the visualization of the links between the nodes

    Network analysis

    Complete the following steps and answer the questions below when finished: 1- Increase the playback speed up to 5x 2- Resume the visualization and try to detect where is the source node. Pause the visualization. 3- Represent in a chart the transmitted bitrate for that node. 4- Move, without using the play/pause button, to the point of the simulation where the source reaches its maximum transmitted bitrate. 5- Remove the bitrate variable from the chart and use the same charts window to compare the number of packets forwarded and received by the source node. 6- Close the charts window and deselect the source node
