CNVC++ ~ Exploring Belonging
Sponsored by the DC Peace Team
Wednesday, May 19th 12-1:30pm or 7-8:30pm EDT or Sunday, May 23rd 7-8:30pm EDT
Location: ONLINE (Zoom link is in the confirmation message and via email closer to the event)
What is it that makes us feel like we belong in a place or within a community? In this session we will explore belonging and the needs and feelings that support us when searching to belong, while evaluating the unmet needs and sensations that arise when we experience not belonging. Feeling accepted and understood is a powerful driver of our decisions in life and learning how to meet those needs with healthy strategies can empower us to find belonging in almost any environment. Everyone is welcome and belongs here if you so choose.
This CNVC++ series of workshops is rooted in Compassionate Nonviolent Communication framework and expanded with supporting modalities to explore how we interact with our Selves, Others and our Environment, incorporating theory and practice, and grounded with evidence from science. All are welcome.
