PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
  • At least 18 years old. 
  • *If you are 16-17 years old & have completed High School/GED we can discuss options.*
  • Either unemployed or underemployed.
  • Female Refugees & Immigrants.
  • Availability from 10am-3pm Monday - Friday.
  • Strong interest in a career within the food service/restaurant/hospitality industry.
  • Must have reliable transportation to class in all weather (TRAX, car, bus, etc.)
  • Must have reliable child care all days/hours of class if you are a parent. (Expectant moms will be considered if due dates do not conflict with the 12 week program timeline.)
  • Able to lift 50 pounds with reasonable accommodation.
  • Able to walk & stand for long periods of time (industry requirement).

Applications are due 1 month prior to the start date of each cohort. You will be contacted with more details & to interview with our Chef Instructor or another Board Member.
