Dear Parent,

All Sports Club organise residential sports courses for children in Years 4 to 8 to Bryanston School in Dorset. All Sports Club are a specialist sports coaching company and are members of the British Activity Providers Association (*BAPA).

During the course boys and girls will participate in a full programme of sports training, coaching and matches in a variety of sports. All levels of ability are catered for, however, it is expected that participants have an interest and basic sporting competency in at least one of the sports on offer. For the boys, Inter school competitions in cricket, tennis, football, basketball, squash, badminton and swimming will take place against a select group of independent schools who attend the course. The girls will have the chance to participate in these sports too but will also focus on hockey, netball, tennis, cricket, rounders, athletics, swimming and volleyball. Once again girls from a select group of independent schools will provide well matched opposition.

For budding sports stars there could hardly be a better place than Bryanston. Set in a beautiful 400-acre site, the school has outstanding facilities. Ten grass cricket nets and several high quality wickets for match play are available. The football training sessions make the most of the carefully prepared grass five-a-side and eleven-a-side football pitches. Hockey is well provided for too, with two full sized astroturf pitches available. Netball training and matches can take place on one of the school’s 5 courts. A real unique aspect of Bryanston school is the huge number of tennis courts, a staggering 54 in total! This includes six high quality grass courts. The school also has its own brand new sports complex with four squash courts, a table tennis salon with six tables, four indoor cricket nets, a gymnasium, a volleyball court, 2 sports halls, a fitness suite, swimming pool and an indoor athletics track.

The boys and girls will be accommodated in two separate boarding houses, in groups of between 2-4 per room. The week is action packed but no one goes hungry as boys and girls are provided with three excellent meals each day from the school dining room.

Participants follow an exciting and diverse programme of sports. Given the light nights, sports play goes on well into the evening after which time boys and girls are given free time to watch DVD’s and relax before lights out at a sensible time. It must be stressed that all boys and girls are expected to participate enthusiastically in and adhere to all aspects of the timetable.

The week will cost £525 which covers all food, accommodation, activities, sports coaching, an All Sports Club t-shirt and return travel to Bryanston. A sibling discount is available; first child £525 any further children £475.

Yours faithfully,
