There are currently 20 total available spots for our two MHS robotics teams (10 on each team). The season officially begins in September and goes through late January/early February, though activities begin almost immediately with community outreach and fundraising. In the fall and winter, most meetings are in the evening, though some will be held right after school and occasionally on Saturdays as needed. Applications are due by 11:59pm on APRIL 27th, 2018. Before you begin, it is recommended that you prepare a few pieces of information:
1) type your ESSAY RESPONSE to the following question so that you can paste it into this form when the following question is asked: In 150 words or less, explain what makes you a valuable team member. How do you work with others? How do you resolve problems? How do you take initiative? You can include instances when you worked on a group project, how you would help with the designing process, and any prior experience(s) you have that will be valuable for working with a team to design, build, and program an amazing robot.
2) Contact information for you and your parent(s) including phone numbers and email addresses
3) If you are applying to join a McMinnville High School FTC team for the first time, you will also need the name and email address of TWO TEACHERS you would like to have complete a Recommendation for you.
