15. Does the participant have to bear all the expenses of traveling, boarding and lodging?

No, the channel bears all the expenses of the participant and the accompanying companion mentioned below, which includes:
a. To and fro Air / Train Travel
b. Hotel stay which is nearest to the studio
c. Food – fixed meals only
d. For NCR contestants – to and fro the studio travel reimbursement (auto or non A/C taxi)

16. What if the contestants’ flight to Delhi gets delayed or cancelled due to fog/poor visibility, riots or natural calamities?

We try our level best from our end to provide the contestant a safe and pleasant journey. Usually the contestants reach New Delhi a day prior to the scheduled shoot date to avoid delays such as fog/poor visibility. Also if the said flight is cancelled at the last minute, we try and arrange an alternative flight for the contestant to reach New Delhi. A contestant in such cases can reach New Delhi on the day of the shoot. But we can’t guarantee things which are beyond our control, such as riots or natural calamities, as shifting a contestant from one episode to another involves disrupting pre-planned schedules of other contestants.

17. Will a contestant be allowed to bring a companion? If yes will they be paid for their travel and lodging?

Yes, one or two companions will be allowed, depending on the composition of the team. If it is a mixed team, then 2 mixed companions are allowed, else only one companion’s travel and lodging will be borne by the channel.
