A Poster Session is a place where you share your idea for a new project, activity, or concept and answer questions in a multi-booth location. This format involves interacting in small groups and individually. Each group will be provided a table (include dimensions) and are encouraged to bring a backdrop, bulletin board, and monitor (if appropriate). Each presenter will have access to wireless internet and electricity. (IF YOU CHOOSE A POSTER SESSION YOU WILL NOT PRESENT DURING THE DAY) The Poster Session should focus on some element of this year's theme: The Future of Learning. Poster Sessions should be geared to information that can be shared in smaller groups in a shorter period of time. Posters will be available for the entire day, but you will only be expected to be with your poster during the extended lunch period from 11:15 - 12:45. You can set up your Poster Session before 11:15. If your presentation is accepted, the TRETC registration fee is waived for the Main Presenter only. If you have a co-presenter/s, they will still need to pay the $99 registration fee online.
Student Showcase provides an opportunity for students to share a project or activity that fits into the theme for this year's theme: The Future of Learning. The Student Showcase will be available during the extended lunch period from 11:15 - 12:45. Students can set up their showcase before 11:15.
The Innovation Zone is an opportunity for startup companies or organizations to share an emerging technology or project. The Innovation Zone activity should focus on some element of this year's theme: The Future of Learning. The Innovation Zone will be available during the extended lunch period from 11:15 - 12:45. Participants in the Innovation Zone can set up their showcase before 11:15.
