BID Board and Committee Interest Form
The Harbor Centre Business Improvement District operates with an Executive Committee, Board, Marketing and Communications Committee as well as a Major Investments Committee and Events and Activities Committee.   The BID Board and each committee is made up of member volunteers who work together to make decisions on the direction and operation of the Harbor Centre BID.

If you have an interest in taking an active role in the Harbor Centre BID, please indicate on the form below.

Indicating interest on this form does not guarantee appointment to any board or committee.  Board and committee members will be selected based on district representation, ensuring a variety of business owners and property owners, and a cross-section of business types.

BID Board members are appointed by the Mayor.

BID Board: I am interested in joining the BID Board, the governing body which assesses the overall direction and strategy for the BID.  Terms are two years long, and the committee meets ever-other month.

Marketing and Communications Committee: I am interested in joining this committee, which reports to and makes recommendations to the Board, and guides organizational communication, transparency, awareness and engagement. This committee meets monthly.

Business Development Committee: I am interested in joining this committee, which reports to and makes recommendations to the Board, evaluates BID supported activities and events, oversees the grant process and grant awards for events and activities, and finds appropriate opportunities and partnerships for events within the BID. This committee meets every other month, or as needed.

Major Investments Committee: I am interested in joining this committee, which reports to and makes recommendations to the Board, as well as identifies opportunities for improvement to the overall district infrastructure, beautification, and placemaking initiatives. This committee oversees the grant process and grant awards for major investment project grants. This committee meets quarterly or as needed.
