The Southern Arizona Film Society is accepting submissions for the first annual Nogales Pride Film Fest, a celebration of LGBTQ+ stories and filmmakers from Southern Arizona and beyond. Selected films will be screened on June 22nd at the GOK Art Hall in Nogales, Arizona, as part of our Pride Month festivities. All LGBTQ+ themed short and feature-length films are welcome, and submission is FREE. One outstanding film could be awarded up to $1,000 to support their next film project*. Don’t miss your chance to be part of this powerful and inclusive event that honors queer voices through cinema.
To submit a film for consideration, please follow these guidelines below:
- Must be produced or filmed in Southern Arizona
- Must have a Producer, Director, Lead Performer, or Writer that self-identifies as LGBTQ+ or be meaningfully representing of the community
- You must provide a digital screening link and password (if applicable).
- Must be completed and available for public screening by June 20th 2025
All entries will be reviewed with respect, equity, and in alignment with the SoAZFilm’s values of inclusivity, representation, and community celebration.
