RSVP: Meet your writer Fred Khumalo!
The Department of English, in collaboration with the Department of Library Services, cordially invites you to attend our first writer event on Friday 24 March 2017 at 11:00 - 13:00 which will be hosted in the Merensky 2 Library auditorium.

Fred Khumalo is the author of Dancing the Death Drill, #ZuptasMustFall and Other Rants, Bitches’ Brew (which won the European Union Literary Prize 2006 and has been taught at the University of Cape Town and the University of Johannesburg) and Seven Steps to Heaven, now a setwork at University of South Africa. His autobiography Touch My Blood was shortlisted for the Alan Paton Prize for Non-fiction 2007. A stage adaptation of the book opened to full houses at the annual Grahamstown National Arts Festival in 2007, and was also performed at the Market Theatre in Johannesburg.
