Capstone projects are not that hard to set up. We can usually work out a rough plan with one face-to-face meeting and some follow-up email and phone calls. We will be happy to talk to you about your ideas. In consideration of the time schedule, we recommend that conversations about potential Capstone projects begin no later than the summer before the Fall term in which the student teams form.

This intake form describes the information necessary to initiate a Senior Capstone project for students in the BSME program at Portland State University. Capstone projects involve design, fabrication, testing and reporting on a device that meets the needs of the sponsor.  

After we receive your project initiation data, you will be contacted by the capstone administrator to discuss the project. We then collaborate on a project description that is provided to students in the capstone class.
