Math & English CBEST Training
Learn about the California Basic Educational Skills Test (CBEST), which is the first step to attaining a teaching credential. A review of what to expect on exam and sample questions will be covered.
Resource Workshops
This workshop will go over the different services provided by the Pathways to Teaching Program. Attending this workshop is a great way to meet the PTTP staff and other students interested in teaching. If you are interested in borrowing books form our Textbook Loan Program, you must attend a Resource Workshop.

Attend this presentation to learn more about Cal State Fullerton general transfer requirements, services provided by the Center for Careers in Teaching, the major recommendations for future teachers, and what the pathway to the credential program looks like.
Cal State Long Beach- College of Education Presentation
Overview of how to become an Elementary, Special Ed., and Secondary teacher. You will also get Information about the resources provided by the Teacher Preparation Advising Center and hear from current student ambassadors pursuing the CSULB teaching credential.
How to Become a Math or Science Teacher
This workshop will explore the pathway to becoming a middle or high school level math or science teacher.
I am interested in SCTA TEACH Club
Student California Teachers Association (SCTA) Teach Club focuses on community services and building leadership skills for future teachers. First meeting will be scheduled in late September. You will be contacted by a club officers with more details about meeting dates.
