6BC Botanical Garden Programming Proposal
Thank you for your interest in producing programming at 6BC Garden! Please answer the following questions to your best ability.
Deadline for application: February 28, 2025.

We love to support artists and programming producers as much as we can, however, we can only host what works best in our space.

*Please note that our garden is managed by volunteers. There is only one person who fields and coordinates events. We appreciate your patience.

Check out the video of some of the 2024 Programming to get an idea of what events are like at 6BC. (This is mostly concert footage, but we also hosted workshops, art shows, readings, festivals and more!)
Name *
Phone Number *
Event Type

We do not host vendor markets.
*
Programming Description *
Please provide links to the music (live performance is most helpful), art, past works, etc. that you are proposing or best gives an idea of what we could expect.  *
Expected Number of Attendees

As a general rule of thumb, the garden gets a lot of foot traffic on Saturday and Sundays. 20-30 attendees work best on these days. For days/times outside of that, 30-60 attendees is a good estimate depending on the type of programming.
(Things to think about: Will it be standing or seated? Will attendees be in and out? Will your programming promotion cast a wide net?)
*
Estimated Start and End Time

*The garden is open Fridays from 5-8 pm and Saturdays/Sundays from 12-6 pm with pre-scheduled volunteers already scheduled to be on site. We require the programming producer to be on site as well as providing one of your own additional volunteers.

Anything out of that timeframe requires a commitment from a 6BC volunteer, the programming producer to be on site and providing 1-2 of your own additional volunteers.

*Please allow for set up and break down time. An hour for each is a good estimate.
*
Preferred Event Date or Date Range

6BC Botanical Garden is open from April-October.
*
Will you need electrical power?
We will follow up if so.
*We can provide a generator. A small donation for fuel is appreciated*
*
Will you need for us to provide tables?
We will follow up if so.
*We can provide an 8ft folding table. We also have a small round folding table, a permanently fixed concrete picnic table and a large round table.*
*
List any supplies you will be bringing.

*For concerts, indicate if you will be bringing merch.*
*
Will you need for us to provide chairs?
We will follow up if so.
*We have ~10 white folding chairs and a smattering of benches and chairs scattered around the garden up for grabs.*
*
Any technical or supply needs?

The use of our PA System (speakers, stands, mics, mic stands, mixer) requires transportation of the system or a $50 donation for transport.

***We are looking for access to storage of this equipment near the garden which would nix this requirement. If you have any connections, please holler!***

We have one clamp light available for use but recommend bringing more lighting if your event runs past 6:00 pm.
