Mt McLoughlin Hike Registration Form 9/27/25
This Project Wild hike is for St Mary's High School students. We will summit one of the Cascade volcanoes - Mt Mcloughlin- which rises almost 9,500' feet and dominates the eastern view of the Rogue Valley.

We also are looking for chaperones. Note that if you have not been a chaperone previously with the school, you will need to complete a background check. Please fill out the chaperone questions if you are interested in attending the trip as a chaperone. 

Once you fill out this registration form, download and print the trip details and permission slips or pick them up at the front office or our bulletin board by the library.

Trip info:
This is not a technical mountain climb, but it is a very strenuous hike. The trip is about 10 miles round trip and has over 3,500 feet of vertical gain. You should be in good physical condition and prepared to hike for approximately 8 hours.

You will need to pack a lunch and snacks and bring appropriate hiking gear and attire for an alpine environment and plenty of water. The packing list can be viewed here.

The trip has no cost. It will be limited to the first 15 students who sign up. The registration deadline is 9/22.

We will depart St Mary's on Saturday 9/27 at 6:15 am. Please meet at the school at 6am to load the vans.
