What is the School Site Council Committee?  Here's a little Summary:
We are a Title 1 School, who receives funding for our students to maintain our 100% Free meals program and funding for many more student focused benefits.  California Ed Code requires that Title 1 schools maintain a School Site Council.   The SSC is comprised of teachers, parents, other staff and the principal.  The SSC meets, looks at student data & other information, identifies needs and discuss how to meet those needs with funding.  All financial decisions must be approved by the SSC.  As a member, you will play the important role of representing the community, helping to make the important financial decisions to positively benefit our students.  We need you!
What is the English Language Advisory Committee?  Here's a little Summary:
The ENGLISH LANGUAGE ADVISORY COMMITTEE is representative of our english learner students and operates exactly the same as SSC.   ELAC meets together with SSC.
