This call for papers is for the second edition of Decoupled Drupal Days at the John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City on August 17–19, 2018. We're looking for 25- and 50-minute sessions which deal with decoupled Drupal topics in the following three tracks:
• The Drupal track will cover the use of Drupal as a content service. Topics include Drupal web services, recommended architectures and frameworks, techniques, and the surrounding decoupled Drupal ecosystem (SDKs, API-first distributions, and libraries).
• The Future track will concern experimental approaches and emerging technologies making use of decoupled Drupal, such as augmented and virtual reality, conversational interfaces, and the Internet of Things (IoT).
Decoupled Drupal Days believes in an inclusive conference and speaker lineup. We particularly encourage members of underrepresented groups, such as women, people of color, LGBTQ, trans* and GNC folk, people living with disabilities, and others, to submit proposals. Decoupled Drupal Days 2018 will be devoting at least 25% of all accepted sessions to speakers of underrepresented groups or first-time speakers. Please indicate anything you would like to note in the Inclusion section of this form.
The deadline for all session submissions is ***FRIDAY, JUNE 8, 2018 AT 11:59pm EST***.
