Biking and Walking to School Survey

Did you know that kids who walk or bike to school are more attentive learners?

Did you know that in 1969, 48% of children 5 to 14 years of age walked or bicycled to school, but in 2009, only 13% of children 5 to 14 years of age walked or bicycled to school?

Did you know that Redmond is a very bikeable, walkable and rollable community - it’s very flat, drivers are courteous and places are easy to get to?

The City of Redmond Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC), in conjunction with the Redmond School District, would like to learn more on your thoughts about biking, walking or rolling (skateboard, scooter, wheelchair, etc.) to school. This important survey will help us understand better what improvements need to be made to make it safer and to encourage more students to bike, walk or roll to school.

Thank you for participating in this survey!
