About Training:
Geovation Nepal, where our aim is to create pilots / “aviators” using a comprehensive theoretical and practical curriculum modeled after other countries' successful UAS certification programs adapted to Nepal’s realities.
Certified pilots from our institute will have a similar mindset and approach of commercial airline pilots (i.e., process-oriented with safety and sound mission planning underpinning all operations). Our comprehensive curriculum will focus on safety; regulations; airspace and airport operations; weather; basic flight principles; and sound mission planning. The theoretical course we provide is also supplemented first by hands-on drone simulator training on a wide variety of drones followed by hands-on flying. Following the basic pilot test and certification phase, the institute provides additional modules in multiple thematic areas such as Disaster Management, Construction, Public Safety, Agriculture and Environment Conservation.
Modules Overview: Earn your wings in drone piloting with following four comprehensive modules:
- MODULE 1: Drone Concepts and Piloting: 40 hours of immersive training covering the fundamentals of drone technology, regulations, and basic to advanced flight maneuvers.
- MODULE 2: Drone Photogrammetry: Unlock the potential of aerial mapping with 40 hours of in-depth instruction on aerial photography, videography, mapping, and data analysis using drones.
- MODULE 3: Drones for Disaster Management: 40 hours dedicated to exploring the crucial role of drones in disaster response, monitoring, and management, making a difference when it matters most.
- MODULE 4: Customized Training Curriculum: Tailored to your needs, these specialized sessions offer varied hours of hands-on learning, integrating drones with GIS and geospatial analysis for specific industries.
