The Montgomery County Planning Department in partnership with the Better Block Foundation, Eastern Montgomery Regional Services Center, Department of Recreation, and MCDOT appreciates your interest in participating in the Fairland and Briggs Chaney Placemaking Festival at the Briggs Chaney Park and Ride!
To volunteer, please complete the form below.
LOCATION: 3300 Briggs Chaney Road Silver Spring, MD 20904
TASKS: Volunteers may be asked to apply paint and construct tables, chairs, the performance stage, etc. Volunteers may also be asked for assistance with festival operations including but not limited to set up, clean up, parking management, etc.
ATTIRE: Please dress appropriately including close toed shoes. Temporary (washable) and semi-permanent paint will be used and may get on clothing. Work gloves, tools, and water will be provided. Additional information about the Fairland and Briggs Chaney Placemaking Festival can be found here:
