Call For Volunteers - Mini-Different Games Conference Toronto

Different Games Conference is a Brooklyn-based event on diversity and inclusivity in games, which strives to amplify the creative and critical voices of marginalized participants in games culture. Geared towards accessibility and radical inclusivity, our annual volunteer-led conference welcomes panels, workshops and playable games from presenters of all professional backgrounds and levels of expertise. Our programming is diverse and interdisciplinary with a focus on featuring emerging voices and representing identities and perspectives not typically supported by the commercial industry.

For more about Different Games, and the conference check out our 2016 conference website:

This year, instead of running a big conference in Brooklyn, we are going to have a small event in Toronto (and possibly other cities). The conference will be on Saturday June 3rd, and will have a mini conference (with local developers) as well as a game arcade exhibiting an international selection alternative games.

Due to the fact that the Different Games Collective Members are spread out all over North America, we will need some local Toronto support for the organizer (Yifat). If you are interested in participating, please fill out this form and I will contact you promptly.

Thank You,
Yifat Shaik
