Author and clinical psychologist Ayelet Gundar-Goshen discusses the therapeutic effect of stories while treating the survivors of October 7th. Gundar-Goshen will be in conversation with JTA's Andrew Silow-Carroll.

Ayelet Gundar-Goshen is an Israeli novelist, and the chief psychologist of Eliezer mental health clinic at Shalvata hospital. Gundar-Goshen novels have been translated into 17 languages and won international prizes. Her novel "waking lions" was a NYT book of the year. Her novel "One night, Markovitch" won Sapir prize for best debut. Her latest novel, "The Wolf Hunt", is currently adapted on stage. Gundar-Goshen taught this year at Stanford University as an Author in residence.
