We will be hosting a RECON Orientation Training the day before (February 7-8) for new team leaders and participants who have never attended a previous RECON training. The focus of this session will be to train new team leaders and participants on our RECON telescope setup, outline the goals and design of our network, and answer background questions about RECON.

Our 2019 RECON Science Team Meeting will be held Friday through Sunday, February 28-March 1. This session is for representatives from all RECON teams, including both new and returning RECON team representatives. The focus of the science team meeting is to review recent RECON science results and lessons learned, to discuss strategies for recruitment and retention of students and other team members, and to plan for our RECON 3.0 project proposal.

RECON will cover the costs for shared lodging and travel for at least one representative from each of our RECON communities. In addition, RECON will cover travel expenses and lodging for roughly a dozen students (and their teacher or parent chaperones) to attend this meeting. Interested students should complete the student application (http://goo.gl/forms/aXUKHd2f8dlEDK183) by Friday, January 18. Selected students will then be invited to register below.

Each community may send additional participants who will be responsible for their own lodging and transportation costs. These participants should register below and we will send details in January on how to reserve rooms at our conference block rate.

We'd like to ask all communities within a four hour drive to bring their telescope equipment to the training. We encourage participants to carpool with other community members wherever possible.

Please complete one registration form for each participant.
