Understanding Cultures through Food Event

The time has come to celebrate all nations, countries, and cultures!

Looking for participants that want to share part of their culture by cooking a traditional dish or snack. At this event, students will have the opportunity to talk about the dish and how it is significant to them, where it comes from and if they put their own spin on it, and what type of ingredients they used.

The goal for this event is to shed light on all the amazing countries we all come from and represent, but also to show how we are all connected in some way, even by food. Additionally, to create a more accepting community of other cultures and be more appreciative of their differences in order to cultivate a positive, accepting, culturally diverse society.

Requirements:
1. Must be a CSUF student
2. Must be a dish that is significant to your culture
3. Must be able to present dish on the event date (10/20/22 - 3:00pm - 5:00pm)

One entry per person. If you have any questions, please reach out to tdrc@fullerton.edu
