Youth Leader Brunch Registration
Calling all Salvation Army Youth Leaders, Officers and Volunteers working with youth:

Join us for our next Youth Leader Brunch on Monday, October 1, 2018 from 10 AM-12 PM at Metropolitan Divisional Headquarters. During our brunch, not only will we eat delicious Ann Sather's cinnamon rolls (and other good foods), but we'll also hear from our guest speaker, Blake Lanier, as he talks about ministering to LGBTQ Youth.

In a world where LGBTQ youth struggle with depression, stress, and loneliness, how do we as youth leaders learn to understand, sensitively relate and help those from the LGBTQ community?  And how do we minister the love of Jesus in obedience to his example, whose compassionate love was all embracing?

At our this Youth Leader Brunch, we’ll explore practical ways in which our Corps’ youth ministries can best live out love and compassion to help youth from the LGBTQ community grow in their faith.

Here is the schedule for our time together:

10:00 AM-10:30 AM: Brunch
10:30 AM-11:30 AM: Lecture (Ministering to LGBTQ Youth)
11:30 AM-12:00 PM: Worship and Prayer
12:00 PM: Depart

The address to Divisional Headquarters is 5040 N. Pulaski Rd, Chicago, IL 60630.
