All materials and scripted guides are provided. As a guest scientist, you will guide families through two simple experiments as examples of how to follow the scientific method to do a science fair project. You will then conduct a mock science fair review. The final activity is a brainstorming session with the small group about ideas for their own projects. Each scientist will have a small group of 3-5 students plus their parent(s) or other adult mentor. Student participants are generally in grades 3-6, although younger siblings may also be present.
