Youth Manifesto 2023 - Join the Movement Now!
The Youth Manifesto is a city-wide political movement driven by young people to draft the first-ever people's youth manifesto for the city of Mumbai. The forum shall primarily dive into the issues and demands of young people concerning Health, the Environment and the City's Administrative Infrastructure. The aim is to bridge the gap between the youth and their representatives with the help of a declaration of demands. This manifesto will represent what the people want, and this manifesto will be submitted to the Environmental ministry, Health ministry, BMC commissioner and the Chief Minister of Maharashtra. This will also provide an opportunity for our representative to learn about the changes that people want to see in their city, providing yet another reason for voters to turn out in greater numbers in the upcoming BMC elections. We aim to give young people a reason to vote and engage in the political process.

About Mark Your Presence & Youth Manifesto
Mark Your Presence was founded on the idea that we can create more change in our country if we work together. We are a non-profit and non-partisan organisation that is working with the support of the Electoral Commissioner of Maharashtra. Mark Your Presence actively engaged with students’ issues through the course of the pandemic; encouraging and supporting them. We realised the lack of a dedicated platform for young people to be heard, to engage and to effect change.

The Youth Manifesto movement is aiming to ignite energy and bring people together, break down barriers and encourage collaboration among long-time Youth advocates, environmentalists, activists, emerging leaders, artists, policymakers, young leaders, politicians, and academics all in one city. To transpire continuous change, we must invest in youth leadership and harness young people's collective power and agency. We are excited  to announce the youth manifesto as a brave space for youth-led accountability. This forum will be chaired by Chaitanya Prabhu, Navya Naveli Nanda and Malhar Kalambe. It is scheduled to be conducted in the second week of April.
