Into the Dark: a student-faculty "Brunch with the Author" conversation with Craig Detweiler
The Center for Faith and Learning hosts this series of TWO book group brunches to read and discuss "Into the Dark: Seeing the Sacred in the Top Films of the 21st Century" by Director of the Pepperdine Center for Entertainment, Media and Culture, Craig Detweiler. Meet in small groups on Wednesday, October 24 at 11 a.m. to discuss the book, then meet together with Craig Detweiler on October 31 at 11 a.m. after his presentation in Wednesday morning chapel (at 10 a.m. in Firestone Fieldhouse). Participants will receive a copy of the book and free lunch on both October 24 and 31 at 11 a.m. One convocation credit will be awarded to undergraduate students who attend BOTH luncheons. Space is limited to the first 60 participants to RSVP. PRIORITY GIVEN TO THOSE WHO CAN ATTEND BOTH DATES.
