Spring Work Day Registration, May 9, 2020 - Friends of the Shakers
It’s time to think Spring, Friends!

The Shakers invite you to put your hands to work, and give your hearts to God because Spring Work Day is just around the corner. Please mark your calendars and join us!

Saturday, May 9, 2020

Lend a hand working at various tasks suitable for all ages and abilities, including sweeping away the winter sand, cleaning out the hay barn, helping in the herb department, prepping the Shakers’ gardens, clearing brush, and so much more! Work days bring lots of hard work, and lots of fellowship, too. Everyone shares the noon meal, conversation, and laughter. Catch-up with old friends, and make new ones. Help make a difference to kick-start the 2019 season at Shaker Village.

Please bring a potluck dish or dessert (drop off food at registration table). Chores start at 9am and last until 3pm.

Please check-in at the registration table located on the lawn at the back of the Brick Dwelling House. All necessary tools and supplies will be furnished but if you have a favorite pair of work gloves, feel free to wear them.

Bring your friends - all are welcome!

Please pre-register by filling out the form below or call 207-926-4597 with any questions.

We hope to see you on May 9th!

707 Shaker Rd, New Gloucester, Maine
