2024 Woodland Heights Tiny Porch Musician/Performer Interest + Availability
Thank you so much for expressing your interest to be a performer on a Host Porch for the 2024 season. It's neighbors like you that make Woodland Heights a truly magical place to live!

Tiny Porch Performer Tips + Procedures

We're in the planning stages for the 2024 season. We're collecting performers availability, referring to the maps, looking at genres,  and ensuring we have equitable representation across the neighborhood. If you're available to performer during the 2024 season - let us know!
(This is not binding at this point- just planning stages for 2024! The Tiny Porch planning committee will be collecting responses between now and March 1, 2024. Schedules for the 2024 Tiny Porch season will be made during the March meeting.

Additional Notes/Considerations:
The more information you provide, the better the planning team is equipped with matching hosts with performers for a smooth Sunday evening!

Please keep in mind that Tiny Porch is exactly what it says - a community event for neighbors to build community and enjoy music from around the city - therefore we ask all performers that they can fit on a “porch” (Porch can sometimes mean stoop, parking pad, small area in the yard - depending on the music!)
Are you also a resident of who is hoping to host performers on your porch too as a "Host Porch"?

(Let us know here so that the Host Porch + Performer committees chat and book your needs appropriately! Additionally, please complete this interest form for Host Porches and we'll be in touch and connect you with your other performer(s) on your porch!)
What is Tiny Porch?

The Woodland Heights Tiny Porch Concert Series represents a grassroots community effort initiated by a dedicated group of neighbors in spring 2023.

Held on Sunday evenings, the event revolves around three "host porches," each featuring two sets of musical performances throughout the evening. This deliberate organization ensures that Woodland Heights' residents, whether long-time locals or recent newcomers, can enjoy a relaxed and regular opportunity to explore the charming streets of our wonderful neighborhood. These outdoor Sunday events offer a chance for Woodland Heights residents, as well as those from nearby neighborhoods within walking distance, to come together, share smiles, engage in conversations, and relish in the music of local, diverse Richmond artists.

As the years progress, the Woodland Heights Tiny Porch Concert series will continue to forge connections among new and established neighbors, fostering stronger bonds within the community.

Featuring 3 Host Porches, 6 incredible groups of performers, and promising an evening filled with neighborhood camaraderie, this event embodies the spirit of unity and togetherness.
