Hey there! Two new community-oriented centers have just opened up near you. We are partnering to reach out to our surrounding neighborhoods and ask how we can best meet the needs of our neighbors.
Colley Community Center (CCC) is a nonprofit organization that seeks to empower Norfolk residents by providing access to workshops that promote personal growth and community flourishing. Located at 4210 Colley Ave., Suite B, the CCC will begin offering bi-monthly workshops to Norfolk residents in May 2024.
The Ryan Resilience Lab is a new facility of the
Elizabeth River Project, whose mission is to restore the Elizabeth River (the body of water that weaves through our neighborhoods) through equitable collaboration with diverse communities, businesses, and governments. Within that mission, the Ryan Lab is especially focused on educating about and modeling everyday strategies for resilience to sea level rise and climate change.
