Please fill out the information below for the 2025 Texas A&M Open Source for Open Science Workshop, which will take place on September 13-14 in the ILSB building on campus. Thank you to our co-sponsor, the Texas A&M Institute of Data Sciences (TAMIDS), for their continued financial support.
This is a free two-day workshop. Active participation during the workshop is encouraged, and attendees should arrange to have a computer on which they can install and run R and RStudio for use during the workshop. Detailed installation instructions will be sent a week before the workshop. No previous experience with programming or statistics is required or expected.
OSOS is open and free to all, especially graduate students, but also undergraduates, faculty, and staff in every discipline.
Note that graduate students may receive 1 credit hour for this workshop by also registering for course EEBL 612 for the Fall 2025 semester. (Please note that the course is scheduled in Howdy as Saturday/Sunday. OSOS will *only* meet the two days of the workshop.) EEBL 612 add in Howdy is now closed.
