Criteria for inclusionAn entry must have reducing AI existential risk as a goal, have produced at least one output to that end (e.g. research paper, media publication, infrastructure project). The entry must additionally still be active and expected to produce more outputs.
Exceptions may be granted for new explicitly AI x-risk focused entries founded by teams with a good track record of executing, especially for training programs where the first output is often large and early visibility is helpful.
Individuals are generally grouped with their organization or research agenda, but may in some cases be listed separately. We’ve not stabilized the notability criteria for non-org individuals yet, and they are liable to be replaced by their orgs or research departments.
Organizations which are almost exclusively focused on running a training program or a media channel will not be double listed, but they can be included twice if their other activities are notable.
