This is an application to participate in the U-11 Elk Island Wild tournament on December 5-7. This tournament will take place in Lamont, Alberta. Applications will be reviewed by the tournament committee and selected teams will be contacted by email and invited to register using a Google link provided by the committee. We hope to have all teams finalized by the end of October.
This tournament is advertised as a Tier 4. We are just beginning our tiering process and are hoping after the weekend games to know where we fit in our tier. . All Tier 4, 5 teams are invited to apply. Please note, teams will be selected on their fit for the tournament rather than the order of application. Our goal is to ensure that teams are evenly matched to ensure a positive experience for all players.
Our tournament will be a 6 team tournament with a guarantee of 4 games per team. There will be medals for the first, second and third placed teams. At the conclusion of each game, including the finals, a Heart and Hustle award and MVP will be presented to players from each team. Each of the Friday night games will conclude with a "Root Beer Shoot Out".
The registration cost is $1600 per team. Payment will be made by e-transfer once teams have been selected.
