2026 Michigan Law Black Alumni Reunion: Volunteer Interest Sign-up
The 2026 Michigan Law Black Alumni Reunion, "Then, Now, and Always" will be held March 20—22, 2026.

The Reunion is driven by alumni leaders and would not be possible without a community of alumni volunteers. We hope you will consider getting involved with this alumni-led planning effort.
Your gift of time is appreciated!

Sign-up fields follow the committee descriptions below.

Committee Descriptions and Expectations (committees meet once a month via Zoom):

PROGRAMMING
The purpose of the committee is to plan the content for the weekend of events, with schedules, sessions (social and substantive). Sessions may include speakers and panels, as well as purely social events such as cocktail receptions, group outings, etc.

FUNDRAISING
Fundraising committee members work to raise funds to subsidize attendance costs so that current and prospective students can attend free of charge; as well as reduce costs for alumni both within 5 years of graduation and out more than 50 years, and those working in the public interest. The committee identifies outside entities such as law firms or other organizations with capacity to support the production of the reunion weekend.

PARTICIPATION
The goal of the participation committee is to reach as many community alumni as possible with personal emails, text messages, or phone calls.  Includes a social media subcommittee. The overarching purpose is to keep the community informed as plans proceed for the reunion and encourage attendance.
