Dear ELSA Tilburg member,
Are you going on exchange to Oslo for the upcoming semester? How thrilling!
Moving to a new place can be quite daunting, but fortunately, ELSA is here to help! Being a member of the world's largest independent law students' association does have its perks, after all!
ELSA Oslo has very kindly agreed to take our Tilburg students under their wing to help welcome them to the new city, be their first point of contact for any questions - be they practical matters or other queries - as well as be your very first friends in the new city so you begin to feel at home in no time at all.
Hopefully, this experience will accomplish two things: firstly, it will make your study abroad experience far more enjoyable as you will be off to a smooth beginning and settle in quite well! Secondly, it will illustrate how ELSA connects people from all corners of Europe - how one European law students' association manages to foster such a sense of community amongst its members all over, so much that an ELSA member will be welcomed with opening arms by an ELSA group wherever they go!
To participate in this programme, please fill in your details in the form below. For any questions, please reach out to
president@elsatilburg.nl.
Practical information aside from filling out this form:
ELSA Oslo arranges the buddy week for the exchange students at the Law Faculty at the University of Oslo. You will get a separate e-mail from the faculty about this before the semester starts. In the autumn semester, the buddy week will take place in August. In the spring semester, the buddy week will take place in January.
This is a fantastic opportunity to get to know the association, the ELSA members and the other exchange students. Every exchange student is highly recommended to partake in this.
If you do not have the opportunity to participate in the buddy week, you can contact ELSA Oslo's President at
president.oslo@no.elsa.org if you have practical questions or the VP Social at
social.oslo@no.elsa.org if you want to join one of our groups in ELSA Oslo and meet other students at the Faculty of Law.
