The Treasurer position is responsible for, but not limited to:

Preparing or supervising the preparing and filing of the IRS Form 990 information return each year and providing copies to each Director.
Filing and paying the Stonewall annual license renewal fee and similar registrations required by government agencies.
Making disbursements to charitable organizations upon direction of the Board.
Preparing an annual financial statement issue other financial reports to Board members as requested by the Board.
Perform an annual independent review or audit of the financial books and records; ensuring that the report is timely presented to the Board.
Maintain the Public Inspection File required by the Internal Revenue Service, and responding for requests from third parties for access thereto.
