The Senate Weekly Announcements

ONLY SUBMIT ONE ANNOUNCEMENT PER EVENT. Your event will appear in all weekly announcements that are within 3 weeks of your event.

The Senate weekly announcements are typically events or opportunities relevant to the entire G&P student body. These include but are not limited to: social events, professional development events, performances, conferences, lectures, opportunities to volunteer, and invitations for nominations of Yale awards.

The announcements MUST be submitted no later than noon on Wednesday - the day before it is going to be sent out. Events will automatically be reposted if the date has not passed.

Events submitted more than 3 weeks before the event date will not be included in the announcements until 3 weeks before the event.

Your event will automatically be added to the public Graduate and Professional School Senate Google calendar.

Follow the example's format exactly or your event will not be included. Please only include the address: "1156 Chapel St." For Yale buildings, enter the acronym, room, then address in parenthesis: "HGS 401 (320 York St)".

Why should people come?

This is a short, 3 - 5 sentence description. It will go directly on the announcements. Be professional, concise, and do not add complicated HTML. You may add a URL by using <a href="http://www.examplelink.com">Name of Your Link</a>. Any broken links, masked links (tinyurl, bitly, etc.), or links we cannot get to work within about a minute will be discarded.
