At the Capital District Writing Project (CDWP), we value the young people who bring our programming to life and do our best to make these programs accessible for all students. It is our hope that families and individuals will never be denied the opportunity to participate in our programs due to financial need.
With the support of generous donors, we are able to provide a small number of scholarships to individuals with financial need to cover the registration fee for the 2020 CDWP Young Writers Workshops. If you are interested in applying for assistance, please follow these steps:
1. Submit the registration form for the workshop your child wishes to attend. Link here: https://tinyurl.com/ub57g9x
2. Fill out the scholarship application below.
Applications must be submitted by June 29, 2020 for consideration. A small committee will review the answers provided on both the registration form and this scholarship form. Notifications will be sent to individuals by July 3, 2020.
We understand that asking for financial support may be difficult, so we have tried to make the process as easy, confidential, and fair as possible.
If you have any questions about this form or if we can assist you in any way, please email Nancy Czachor or Amy Salamone at CDWPWriteNow@gmail.com
