By submitting the form below you are acknowledging the following guidelines:

1. We agree that participating in the Chess Club includes promoting good sportsmanship, having a willingness to learn, engaging in chess, and being respectful.

2. Chess sets, clocks, and materials that are provided by the Chess Club must be treated respectfully and if broken or damaged by my student, we will need to reimburse the Chess Club.

3. We understand that membership may be revoked without fee reimbursement for misbehavior or violation of club expectations.

4. We understand that in the event of canceled school, such as a snow day, no reimbursement will be made for missed chess instruction and no refunds will be given. No refunds will be given for absences.

5. We understand that the chess coach is not an affiliate of Lovejoy ISD and any actions does not reflect Lovejoy ISD or its value.

6. We understand Lovejoy ISD is not liable for any injuries during chess club.

7. I, the parent, will arrange transportation for my student for chess meetings and understand that after a free first offence, a $5 charge will be added for every 5 minutes late thereafter. (Kids First kids will go to Kids First).
