AYSC will be volunteering alongside OCA-East Bay to pick up trash around Wilma Chan Park and Chinatown. 

Every month, community members in Oakland Chinatown join together to clean out several pounds of waste in sidewalks, streets, and parks. It is an effort to keep our Chinatown community clean, welcoming, and to show pride for our heritage neighborhood. Promoting civic participating through feeling ownership of the neighborhood, the event is designed to cultivate new leaders and advocates.
