Teaching Skills Workshop | January 14 & 15, 2019 | Creating Online Teaching Materials
Have you said “I want to put that material online”, then thought “but I don’t know how!”? This workshop is for exploring instructional design principles and technical aspects for creating and using online teaching materials. The session will include a combination of demonstration and discussion. Tools to be highlighted include narrated PowerPoint, VoiceThread, Tegrity, Adobe Presenter, SoftChalk, LibGuides, and Blackboard.

Learning objectives
1. Review best practices for development of online teaching materials
2. Compare and contrast personal and enterprise options for creating online teaching materials
3. Compare and contrast options for housing the materials
4. Examine ways to get scholarship from creation of online materials
