*** Walk-ins are welcome! While registration is not required, it is highly encouraged to ensure we have enough space and materials for everyone who joins us.
Saturday, May 2nd from 3:00 PM -- 4:00 PM
CCC Office at 75 Pleasant St, Suite 403, Malden, MA
Are you a student curious about what it takes to become a doctor? Join us for a panel discussion where you'll hear directly from 4 practicing physicians about their personal journeys to a career in medicine. From undergraduate preparation to residency, our panelists will walk you through the realities of medical training and share the types of experiences and opportunities worth seeking out. You will learn about the wide range of career paths available within the medical field including public health, anesthesia, pediatrics, and cardiology.
This event is hosted as part of the YouLead Initiative and made possible through funding from the Massachusetts Department of Public Health's Office of Problem Gambling Services.
The YouLead program is hosting an in-person panel discussion featuring:
- Erin Albertini, MD, MPH
- Rachelle Liu, MD
- Augustine (Gus) Kang, MD, PhD
- Alan Poe, MD
All students who attend the full session will receive an official "Certificate of Participation (1 hour)." This can be used to bolster your college applications, internship resumes, or career portfolios to show your dedication to professional growth. Spread the word to your friends, peers, teammates, etc.
