5. Chapter Corporate Partner of the Year

The Woman Business Owner of the Year Award recognizes an exemplary NAWBO-Greater Raleigh member who is a demonstrated leader and role model within her business and the community.

In honor of our first chapter president, Mary Diener, the Member of the Year Award recognizes one NAWBO Greater Raleigh member for her outstanding commitment to the organization, her support of its mission and vision, and her work to promote the NAWBO brand within the business community.

The Rising Star Award recognizes the accomplishments of one NAWBO Greater Raleigh member who has joined the chapter within the last 18 months and who has supported the chapter through active participation in meetings, events and committees; promotion, and networking.

The Public Policy Advocate Award recognizes the accomplishments of one outstanding individual who has engaged in activities that enhance women business ownership through public policy and has supported and strengthened NAWBO's vision, mission, and its presence in the public policy arena.

The Chapter Corporate Partner of the Year will be recognized for a proven commitment and financial investment in our NAWBO Greater Raleigh chapter. The nominee must be an active Chapter Corporate Partner. The winner’s representative must agree to accept the award in person at NAWBO-GR’s Annual Meeting.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
 Applications must be completed legibly and submitted on this official Award Nomination Form.

 You may also submit additional supporting documents for consideration including the candidate’s bio and headshot (no more than 3 pages). Judges will not review material which exceeds this limit.

 Self-nominations are acceptable.

 Multiple nominations from one nominator are acceptable.

 Nominee must not have previously won a local NAWBO chapter award within the past year.

 Deadline: Must be received no later than Friday May 12, 2017. Late applications will not be considered.
