Morning General Session: "Worship Theology" - Tom Camacho, BRVC Pastor
The Westminster Catechism establishes two powerful statements that we will explore in this brief theology of worship. 1) The chief end of man is to glorify God and to enjoy Him forever. 2) God is a Spirit, infinite, eternal and unchangeable in His being, wisdom, power, holiness, justice, goodness and truth. Our greatest privilege is to bring glory, to exalt and to magnify our eternal and infinite God in everything we do and say. Worship is a lifestyle and mindset that is where all kingdom life begins and is what we will enjoy forever in eternity.

Afternoon General Session: "The Heart of Worship" - Tom Camacho, BRVC Pastor
Servant Leadership - Phillip Mullis, BRVC Worship Leader
In this Servant Leadership class we will use the model of Jesus as the ultimate servant and explore what it means to lay down your personal desires, ways and life to better serve your church, your Pastor, your congregation and yes, even your team! How you approach your ministry can impact and change lives forever. Do you listen to and HEAR the heartbeat of your Pastor and church? Do you see the hidden and sometimes beaten down gifts, talents and callings in your team members? Is it all about you and your talent or is it about God and His heart…? We will get real and explore what it means to serve your local body and help them grow in their worship of our great God. You will learn how to dig and find the golden nuggets that God has deposited in each of your team members and watch them blossom into a beautiful reflection of His glory. There is no greater pleasure than introducing God’s people each week to His presence and ministering to His needs. Jesus poured Himself out for us so that we may do the same for others…

There will be time for open discussion about performing, choosing songs, vocal sound, and any other questions you may have.

Team Dynamics - John Harwood
“Team Dynamics” will primarily be a teaching session geared for worship team members and leaders or those aspiring to become such. The design will be to help them better understand the workings of a united team of players and singers functioning first as priests unto God, second as personal worshippers of God and third as skilled musician/singers using their talents together submitted to God, church leadership and each other. The session will include practical tips in playing and singing as a team, technical advice, song analysis, understanding one’s personal role as a team member and provide helps for those who are called to be worship team builders. There will be a question and answer period following the teaching.

"The Potters Heart" - Judy Harwood
Isaiah 64:8 "NOW OH LORD, YOU ARE OUR FATHER. WE ARE THE CLAY, YOU ARE THE POTTER. WE ARE ALL THE WORK OF YOU HANDS." What does it mean to be pliable clay in the hands of the master potter? If our worship really is to be 24/7, how do we stay centered on the wheel, so He can have his way with us? Through demonstration on the potter's wheel, this workshop will examine these questions and visually portray how intimacy with Jesus is a lifestyle of worship.
